On the 8th of June, Blakelands Country House hosted a fashion show and afternoon tea in aid of the charity Promise Dreams. Promise Dreams help fulfill the dreams of seriously and terminally ill children. This particular event was in aid of a new trike for a little girl which would allow her to have more independence as well as have massive health benefits. Although the charity were hoping to fund part of the trike through this event, the charity managed to raise the full price of the trike- over £3,580!
