Welcome to the Blakelands Estate!

We hope you have a wonderful time here at our family home during your celebration. This page is just some information you may need during your stay, if you do have any questions, please ask a member of staff.

Here at Blakelands, we benefit from a grade II Listed building but due to the age & style of your surroundings, some areas such as doorways, corridors & some rooms have restricted headroom. Please take care as the uneven paths of the grounds can be hazardous.

Main Reception is open from your Arrival Time until 4pm. If Reception is closed, the Manager can be contacted from the phones either in Main Reception or The Lodge Reception on Extension 208.

Blakelands is a Nut Free Venue and we therefore ask that you do not bring any products containing nuts or peanuts onto the Blakelands site. Thank you for helping us remain nut free.

To Summon Assistance…

Main Reception is Open from your Arrival Time until 4pm. If Reception is closed, the Manager can be contacted from the phones either in Main Reception or The Lodge Reception on Extension 208.

After the Main Reception is closed, assistance can be summoned from locations around Blakelands by calling Extension 208, internal phone systems can be found in the following locations:

The House Study, Blakelands House

The Stables Lobby

The Lodge Lobby

Reception, The Maltings Barn

Refreshments- A tea & coffee tray is located in your room, top ups are available from main reception. There is also a tea & coffee machine located in reception, available during normal opening hours.

Breakfast- Breakfast is served in the Lodge Building. If you are staying in Blakelands House, or the Stable Building, Breakfast is located through the archway from the gravel courtyard and across the Main Gardens. Breakfast is served from 8:30am- 9:30am. Light Breakfast is served buffet style and is inclusive in your room rate. Hot Cooked Breakfast is available to order from the Breakfast Team.

Central Heating– Heating in your room is controlled via thermostatic twist controls on the radiators. Please adjust to your preference.

Checking Out– Your account will be held by the Main Reception Staff. You may check out anytime from 9:00am-10:30am the following morning of your stay. If you wish to leave early, please see the Reception Staff to settle your bill early.

For Guests Staying in the House Rooms– The Blakelands House will be closed at 10:30pm and will only be accessible to residents staying within the house. A key the Courtyard Door can be found on your keyring.

Please be advised, only drinks purchased at Blakelands many be consumed on the premises. Any alcohol brought onto the premises may be removed by the management & by request, returned upon departure.

Blakelands is a no smoking establishment. Please smoke & vape only in designated areas where ashtrays are visible. Smoking & vaping is not permitted in any other areas, including in the Blakelands Buildings.
